Billing/Tuition
We accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash or Check (cards coming soon)
- Tuition is paid the 1st class of each month. Drop ins are paid the day of class. Class cards for youth program is due to the small amount of classes offered per age group. There is room for growth once we kick this program off! Cards are paid for UPFRONT and you have 40 days to use your class card.
Refunds/Class withdrawal
- If you need to change classes please contact Charleigh 408.656.2578, OR email at Charleighfrance@gmail.com If there is space in desired class you/your dancer may start the following week OR in the new month.
- There are ZERO REFUNDS. You must notify Charleigh France 1 WEEK, 7 DAYS before the start of a new month if you wish to drop. There are zero refunds on class cards. They will expire after 40 days.
- If you have to cancel a scheduled private lesson we require 24 hour notice or you will be charged $25 cancellation fee.
- Classes missed- There will be no discounts or refunds. Please inquire about a make up class if students needs to miss. Project 8 needs 3 or more dancers in order to run a class. The studio reserves the right to cancel a class if 3 or more dancers are not enrolled.
ATTENDANCE
- Consistent attendance and participation is required in order for your student to benefit the most from their training.
- Appropriate attire and hair must be worn upon arrival to class.
- Arrive to class on time. Any dancer arriving 15 or more minutes late to class may not be able to participate. Tardiness may result in a dancer missing the proper warm-up, which jeopardizes their safety in the classroom.
- Water is always allowed in the dance studio. No food, drink or gum on dance studio floor. All food and drink must be kept and consumed in lobby or outside in common areas.
- MAKE-UP CLASSES are offered. If you miss a class you may ask Charleigh France what an appropriate class would be to make-up. Make-ups are optional and you MUST MAKE UP A CLASS WITHIN 2 WEEKS after the class you are enrolled in is missed.
- If a teacher or substitute is not present a make-up class with be scheduled at a later date. When classes have a substitute and your dancer chooses not to participate, that is their choice and NO REFUND will be provided.
- UNIFORMS: Hair must be pulled up and back off the face and neck. Properly fitted garments like leotards or leggings are recommended. We do not recommend sending your child to class in oversized princess dresses or other fancy dress during technique classes as they are a distraction. BEHAVIOR
Dancers and parents are expected to show respect to all teachers and students. Our students are always positive, supportive and encouraging making the studio a safe place for all dancers. There is a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying and violence. If any student OR parent is caught in the act of bullying or displaying violence you will be asked to leave the program permanently with NO refund.
Phones and Tablets are to be kept safe in dance bags/ backpacks/ purses and only allowed when teacher permits. Social media is to be used ONLY for promoting Project 8 and celebrating our program/students in a positive/respectful light. Any bullying over social media is NOT tolerated and may result in a meeting or permanent suspension. Inappropriate posts taken at Melonlight or involving Project 8 will result in suspension and or parent meeting. NO refunds are provided if your student is suspended.
We encourage students to share Project 8 on social media in order to show our community we are a SAFE place for children and adults to express themselves through movement.
